29th July- INTERNATIONAL TIGER DAY

  •  International Tiger Day is observed every year on 29 July to spread awareness about the need for the conservation of Tigers, promote the protection of the natural habitat of tigers. This day is also known as Global Tiger Day.
  • To raise awareness about the declining tiger population in the world. The day encourages the work of conservation of tiger.
  • Theme of  2021 -Their survival is in our hands"

  • The day was founded in 2010, when the 13 tiger range countries came together to create Tx2 – the global goal to double the number of wild tigers by the year 2022.

Gandhi says - "  EARTH PROVIDES ENOUGH TO SATISFY EVERY MAN'S  NEEDS, BUT NOT EVERY MAN'S GREED."

15th July - WORLD YOUTH SKILLS DAY
