24th July- NATIONAL PARENT'S DAY

  •  National Parents Day is observed on the fourth Sunday in July and in 2022 it falls on 24 July. 

  • This day is celebrated to honour all the parents who play a vital role in the lives of children.

  •  Their unconditional love and sacrifice for their children can't be measured.

  • National Parents’ Day is celebrated in many different countries all over the world. 

  • It was proclaimed an official day by the United Nations, yet it has also been honored in the United States ever since 1994. This is when it was signed into law by President Bill Clinton.

  •  The day was established as one for recognizing, supporting, and uplifting the role of parents when it comes to raising children around the world. 

  • It was Trent Lott, a Republican Senator, who actually introduced the bill.

28th JULY - WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY

The World Nature Conservation Day is observed annually on  July 28 .  The occasion aims to create awareness about the need to preserve the environment and natural resources in order to keep the world healthy. Saving plants and animals that are threatened with extinction is one of the primary focuses of the World Nature Conservation Day. THEME OF 2021 - " Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Plane t"                        The celebration emphasizes on  keeping the various components of nature such as flora, fauna, energy resources, soil, water, and air intact.  As M.K. Gandhi says - "  EARTH PROVIDES ENOUGH TO SATISFY EVERY MAN'S  NEEDS, BUT NOT EVERY MAN'S GREED."

16th JULY- WORLD SNAKE DAY

  World Snake Day on July 16th urges increased awareness of the wide variety of 3,500 species around the world.  Among the 3,500 species, only about 600 are venomous.   According to the World Health Organization, only about 200 of those pose a significant risk to human life. The world’s smallest snake is the Barbados thread snake.
